The main executive unit of the transport sector, in its meeting today headed by the Minister of Transport Amer Al-Marani, reviewed the matrix of transport projects in the first and second phases of the national vision for building the modern state and the mechanism for its implementation and development.
The meeting, in the presence of the head of the executive unit, Eng. Nazir Al-Dubai, discussed the organizational structure of the main unit and sub-units of the transport sector, the level of workflow, what has been accomplished in the first and second phases of the transport sector, and the level of completion of the second phase plan in accordance with the directives and instructions issued by the Executive Office of the vision, in addition to reviewing the memorandum of the Minister of Finance Concerning the approved finances for transport projects.
The Minister of Transport stressed the need to follow up on the level of implementation of projects by the bodies and institutions affiliated with the ministry, especially priority projects that serve the various sectors of land, sea and air transport.
He urged the Executive Unit to develop an integrated vision for the needs of the transport sector and submit it to the Technical Office of the National Vision, stressing the importance of working in a team spirit to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression and siege.
Minister Al-Marani pointed to the need to pay attention to technical studies of transport projects through specialized technicians with distinguished experiences and high efficiency in the fields of transport, since transport projects are a national and international strategy.
And he valued the efforts made by the executive unit of the transport sector and its follow-up to projects, and submitted them to the Executive Office of the National Vision.
