Discussing the activation of technical inspection centers [04/April /2021]

A meeting was held today, which included the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Waleed Abdullah Al-Wadaie, and the General Director of the Security Pension Fund, Brigadier Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Hashemi, to discuss the activation of the technical examination centers and the services that can be provided in this aspect and at the meeting, which was attended by Director General of Traffic Mujeeb Al-Rahman Al-Omari,
And the General Director of the Authority’s branch in the Capital Secretariat, Muhammad al-Shahari, the General Director of Ports and Branches, Ahmed Ali Abdul-Karim, and the Investment Director of the Security Pension Fund, Yahya Muhammad al-Mutawakel
Al-Wadaie stressed the importance of activating technical inspection centers and rehabilitating them optimal because of their role and importance in preserving human lives and means of transport, especially after the recurrence of traffic accidents, the cause of which is mostly technical defect.
For his part, Al-Hashemi, Director General of the Security Pension Fund, affirmed the fund’s cooperation with the Authority in this aspect and as required by the public interest
While Al-Omari, the Director General of Traffic, explained the importance of re-activating the technical inspection centers and the readiness of the General Traffic Department to fully cooperate with the Authority and the Fund in developing plans and programs that would conduct technical examination on various means of transport on a regular basis.
