The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs was established to provide its services to citizens and investors, in implementation of the political leadership's directives, which paid great attention to the land transport sector as one of the tools for sustainable development. Consequently, we have been keen in the authority to provide the necessary information to those involved in a manner that facilitates the process of exchanging information and receiving notes, complaints, consultations and proposals in order to develop performance. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority honors the distinguished employees for the year 1444 AH
Today, the Land Transport Regulatory Authority honored a number of distinguished employees working
in the authority's general office and its branches in the municipality and the governorates during the year 1444 AH.
At the honoring ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Mr. Waleed Abdullah Al-Wadaei, expressed his great pleasure in honoring the distinguished employees who are distinguished in the performance of their work, stressing the keenness and interest of the Authority in all employees without exception.
Al-Wadaei considered the honor an important incentive for the employees and an encouragement for them to continue their successes in achieving the desired goals that contribute to the development and promotion of the various fields of land transport.
He said honoring today for a number of employees and workers is, in fact, a tribute to all employees of the Commission and its branches in the governorates, because everyone deserves to be honored.

The conclusion of two courses on developing services and a code of professional conduct in Sana'a [Wednesday, Shawwal 27, 1444 AH, corresponding to May 17, 2023]
Today, at the National Institute of Administrative Sciences, the seventh courses on developing services and simplifying procedures and the second on the code of professional conduct were concluded, organized by the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance.
The two courses targeted trainees from the Ministries of Electricity and Energy, Higher Education, Finance, Civil Service, the Presidency Office, the Transportation Regulatory Authority, the Customs and Land Authority, the General Grain Corporation, September 21 University for Medical Sciences, and the Institute of Administrative Sciences.
In conclusion, the Minister of Civil Service, Salim Muhammad Al-Mughlis, indicated that the two sessions focused on concepts concerned with enhancing functional work in the state's administrative sector within a development program that includes many projects and is sponsored by the state's leadership.
He explained that the Code of Conduct came to change the concept of public office as a responsibility to serve citizens, and at the same time regulate the relations between employees with all their responsibilities, behavior towards society and service recipients, and enhance employee behavior with colleagues, subordinates and beneficiaries.
He said, "If the true concept of public office is established, it will facilitate positive engagement He considered the two sessions a starting point for implementing the tasks and responsibilities
of the development teams in bringing about the required positive change in all state institutions,stressing the importance of the development teams playing their role in carrying out the tasks assigned to them.
Minister Al-Mughlis stressed the need for everyone to feel responsible in implementing
programs to develop the performance of the state's administrative sector, which has
been steadfast for more than eight years in the face of the aggression, which aimed to paralyze it.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ali Sharaf El-Din,
praised the efforts of the Ministry of Civil Service in preparing and implementing the two training programmes.
And he noted the role of the National Institute of Administrative Sciences in qualifying national
cadres who can count on effective participation in improving the administrative and service reality.
Dr. Sharaf El-Din referred to the complementary relationship between the Code of Conduct and the
Service Development Guide. Considering that if the employee enjoys good behavior and job
commitment, he will seek to facilitate procedures and provide the best services to citizens.

Discussing the Mechanism of Applying the Axial Weight Law for Road Protection [26/June/2021]
A meeting in Sana'a today, headed by Minister of Transport Amer Al-Marani, discussed the mechanism of implementing the pivot weight law to preserve the main road network and between cities from overloads.
The meeting, which was attended by the head of the Roads Maintenance Fund, Eng. Nabil Al-Haifi, reviewed the damage caused to roads as a result of excessive loads of heavy trucks and the resulting losses.
The Minister of Transport stressed the importance of activating the axial weighing stations on the main roads, to preserve the road and bridge network, pointing out the importance of maintaining roads as a lifeline and linked to various service and humanitarian aspects.
He pointed to the great losses incurred by the state in the restoration of roads annually as a result of their deterioration due to neglect of the axial weighing stations and the raids of the aggression and others.
The Minister of Transport stressed the need for coordination between the authorities related to the application of the axial weight law to overcome the problem of road wear and tear due to excessive loads.
For his part, the head of the Roads Maintenance Fund indicated that the continuation of excessive loads portends catastrophic risks to the road network.
